TEA HONOURS TWO TERRACE BAY LADIES Mrs. Walter Anderson held a come and go tea at her home on Fort Garry Road, Monday afternoon and evening in honour of Mrs. Aggie Sinkins, who is visiting here from Toronto and Mrs. Pauline Phillips who will leave shortly to make her home in Thunder Bay North. Members of the Eastern Star, Silver Birch Chapter, of which both guests are members, as well as ladies of the communities of Terrace Bay and Schreiber attended, with their out of town guests. Mrs. Wynn McKechnie and Mrs. Marge Lundberg received at the door. Seated at a lace covered table, with a centerpiece of roses and delphiniums, Alice Farrow and Mrs. | enhanced by pink candles, Mrs. Aggie Bryson, Mrs. Eva Haughn poured tea, assis ted by Mrs. Vera Kennedy and Mrs. Kay Weppler, Mrs. who served strawberry shortcake. Marge Hutch- inson, visiting from Kapuskasing, helped serve. Mrs. and replenished. Bea Carr, of Brandon, made the tea and coffee Mrs. Doris Almos, Worthy Matron, of Silver Birch Chapter, O.E.S., presented Mrs. Phillips with a farewell gift from the chapter, a cream and sugar on a tray, decorated with the O.E.S. emblem. A pot luck supper and bridge party was held at the home of Mrs. Alice Farrow to honour Mrs. Aggie Sinkins, a former member of the bridge club, now residing in Toronto. With all the members participating, a gourmet supper was enjoyed and an evening of bridge took place. Mrs. Bea Carr, sister of Mrs. Marjorie Anderson, was also a guest. Mrs. Freda Knight took first prize. Mrs. Farrow presented Mrs. Sinkins with a gift. Miss Bonnie Beddard, her financee Bob Childs and Miss Leslie Douglas of Toronto were guests of Bonnie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Beddard over the weekend.
