The Aguasabon Ladies Open Tournament held here Sunday was most successful with entries from as far west as Brandon and east to Pickering, Ontario. Helen Shanks of Chapples, Thunder Bay was the big winner with rounds of 43-40 for a total of 83, one stroke better than runner-up Ann Lushney of Strath- cona, Thunder Bay 39-45 for a total of 84. Low net with a 67 was Alice Harkness of Marathon, Marilyn Thomas, Terrace Bay shot a net 68 for the runner-up spot.
