There were quite a few entries in this event but not too' many scores were posted. Kit Thomas won the "A" division with a low gross of 75 and Kit is to be congratulated on this very fine score. Low net was Jack Luke with a 69. In the "B" division, Ist low net was Clarence Buck with a net 68 and 2nd low net was Rolly Gander with a net 81. This was the last 18 Hole Twilight for the year. Members are requested to refer to our bulletin board occasionally. The Red Rock "Open" Tour- nament is being held Saturday, July 18th, and another popular tournament, the. Bergstrom at Geraldton, will be held August 8th and 9th. We ask that as many members as possible support these out-of-town tournaments as they are very good ex- perience. Marathon tournament comes up August 22nd which is quite some time away but you should start thinking now of making plans to go. Most members will have noticed the length of black hose extending down the right hand side of No. 1 fairway. This is an experiment to see if we have enough water pressure to be able to install sprinklers for the greens for No. 1, 2, 3 holes. So far, the experiment seems to be successful and we are quite hopeful of continuing with our progrars to install the equipment this year.
