MARTIN'S STUDENTS VISIT SHRINE CIRCUS. a EY On Wednesday, April 29th, children of St. Martin' Kindergarten and Grade 1, left by bus to pay a visit to the Shrine Circus. Teachers Sister Maureen and Mrs. Ruth Mitchell, with the help of a number of volunteers, herded the children into the bus which left here at 10.20. Lunch was served to them at Avila Centre, in Thunder Bay North, after which | they toured the centre. Then on to Shaw's Bakery, where they saw how bread is made and each child was presented with a loaf of bread to bring home. The Shrine Circus was the highlight of the whole trip and the children enjoyed it immensely. Back to Avila Centre for a supper of A and W hamburgers and then into the bus, which left at 8 p.m. Unfortunately fog closed in and with thunder and lightning as an | accompaniment, the trip home took longer than . aaa AL NOTICE TO PARENTS OF SCOUTS AND CUBS We still need more help for the Scout Olympics.
