To Pat Jones, chairman of the event, Mrs. Ethel Boyd and Wayne Newell who ably assisted him. "Slim" Dorman and his committee for constructing the track and cross country trail and the men who manned the Check Points. To Kimberly Clark for their assistance and co-oper- ation, to the Ontario Hydro and their men who op- erated the Two Way Radio's to the Schreiber St. John's Ambulance, who were in attendance all day. The Ladies Auxiliary, especially the ladies who spent so much of their time in the kitchens. To the Masonic Lodge for their co-operation and to Mrs. Lundberg for taking pictures and giving the branch such a fine write-up. Members of the Branch are reminded that meeting nights will be the second Sunday each month. We would like very much for more members to come out and take part in our activities, so see you all on the 28th at the Curling Club. A letter from the Figure Skating Club of Terrace Bay was answered with a $10.00 donation, It was mentioned that next year, the Snowmachine Races would require more funds to make the races more attractive to out of town participants. A means of raising sufficient funds will be devised. Gordon Dodge was present to explain the Branch's Insurance coverage. There was some discussion and recommendations to review same. Executive meeting will be called to begin ground work for the proposed new building possibly at the same time the Insurance policy will be reviewed. On February 28th, the Branch mixed curling will be held, games to be six enders. Winners will re- | ceive Champagne the losers or runners-up some other suitable prize. The evening following curling fresh lobster will be featured at the Legion. On this evening, the Branch will be open to Members, Auxiliary and Club members only.
