RECREATION BRIEFS - By Jerry Dupas REGISTER FOR JUDO NOW Registration forms are now available at the Rec- reation Office for anyone interested in joining Judo. If you are interested, be sure to pick up a form soon as you must register by Tuesday, February 24th. All persons who submitted their names to the Rec- reation Office have already attended the first Judo session on Tuesday, February 17th at 6:30 p.m. at the High School Auditorium. Sessions are held weekly-on Tuesday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Anyone 13 years of age and over may register, and anyone under 13 years who took part in the Judo programme last year may register this year. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS TUESDAY, FEB. 24TH. Each registrant will be required to bring 25¢ each session he attends. For further information, call the Recreation Office - 3542. People from community groups, recreation committees and municipal councils meet twice a year to discuss "mutual problems" as related to Recreation. The Zone includes communities such as Caramat, Manitou Bay. Special registration forms will be forwarded to local groups in the near future to attend the confer- ence and it is hoped that a good response is received. As of Monday, February 16th, we were unable. to publicize playoff dates for both our representative Bantams and Peewees. We hope to have these dates available for next week's news.
