COUPLE UNITED IN COMMUNITY CHURCH Patricia Sue Thorsteinson,deughter of Mr. and Mrs. Be Thorsteinson became the bride of Mrs.Paul F. Moon son@ of Mr. and Mrs, William Moon during a ceremony performed by Rev. T. Garnett Husser held in Terrece Bay Community Church on September 20th, 1969 at 4 p.m. Multi colored Glads and Snapdragons decorated the altar and organ music was provided by Mrs. R. Inshaw of Nipigon. Soloist was Mr. C. Puck of Terrace Bay. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a gown of white imported Crimpoline made in Mmpire sytle with bow ac- cented waist line, lace trim on the neckline which continued down the front to the hemline. The full gathered sleeves were also lace trimmed. Her silk chiffon veil fell from her Headpiece of tiny roses and lily-of-the-valley continuing on down to the bottom of her gown. She carried a bouquet of Pink Sweetheart Roses. Her attendants were Mrs. Fay Figliomeni (sister of the bride) and Flower girl Judy Godin (niece). The former wore an Azure Blue Crimpoline gown made with Jewel collar, narrow belted waist-line, full skirt and sleeves with wide bottoned cuffs. White Daisies adorned each curl of her coiffure and she carried a bouquet of white carnations with silver ribbon to match her shoes. Judy wore a white lace A-line dregs with Azure blue underslip.' White Daises were worn in her hair and she carried a pink carnation nosegay. Best man was William Moon. Jr. and ushers were Chas. Davis (groom's brothet---in-law) and Timothy Preistley (bride's nephew). For a reception held in the Terrace Bay Curling Club Lounge the Bride's Mother wore a green fortrel dress with black and white assessories and a corsage of Yellow Roses. The Groom's Mother chose a beige suit, brown accessories and orange carnations. A toast to the bride was proposed by her brother-in-law Mr. Jim Figliomeni. Her miece Debbie Preistiléy circulated the guest book and the wedding cake was cut and distributed by her sisters Mrs. Doris Priestley and Mrs. Mavis Godin. Leaving for a honeymoon to the U.S.A. the bride wore - a grey flannel walking suit with nauve blouse and black patent accessories. Out of town guests were: - Mr. and Mrs. A. On the Traffic Scene: one fatal collision occurred October 6, near Pays Plat River Bridge, Highway 17, which claimed the life of Ernest James Burr, age 53, of 423 Merril Street, Port Arthur. Death occur- red when the vehicle operated by the deceased went out of control and collided with a rock cut. The vehicle was totally wrecked. ? Three other collisions were investigated which resulted in no injuries but approximately $1900.00 damage. A total of eight warning were issued. Parents are urged to impress upon their children the importance of safe bicycle operation on streets and roadways. Bicycles being used during periods of darkness must be equipped with lights as provided under the Highway Traffic Act. Strict observance of these requirements must be kept.
