Public School Faculty - cont'd from page 15 ... tried this year, with three male teachers, in grades 7 and 8 with the plan to include grade 6 and poss- ibly grade 5 next year. The teacher exchange and team teaching is an interesting experiment this year, as is the unit sys- tem preparation, which is a theme or topical exper- iment in readiness for a future ungraded programme. Mr. Cressman will devote half of his time to teaching and half to administration, and monthly meetings are scheduled for K-3, 4-6 and 7-8 to discuss new techniques, common problems and other school matters. Visits by the Principal and others of the staff will be made to area centres to study new programmes presently innovated, and considerable class par- ticipation in enterprise and excursions is being plan- ned.
