SEPTEMBER 11, 1969 TERRACE BAY NEWS STORTINI-HARNESS WED IN HOLY ANGEL'S Roses adorned the altar of Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church. In- shaw of-Nipigon taking part in the service. The groom's niece Miss Anna Fummerton was organist and Giovanni Ce- brario, soloist. The bride, given in mar- riage by her father, chose a formal length ensemble in im- ported frosted silk sonesta. A sleeveless dress with bodice and high Victorian neckline overlaid with Cluny lace and slim. skirt falling in soft folds from an empire - style waist, was worn under a full length coat of matching material which fashioned a cathedral length train from back full- ness, Lace medallions were appliqued on front panels which opened as the bride walked, to reveal her gown; 'arid elbow - length sleeyes fea- tured similar tace trim. Her elbow - length bouffant veil was caught to a floral cluster headdress and she carried an arm bouquet of yellow Delight roses. Matrou of honor Mrs. Nor- man Glad, maid of honor Miss Ora Mae Harness and brides- maid Miss Helen Harness wore similar floor - length gowns of yellow chiffon and , taffeta. The bodices were en- | hanced by ruffles and fashion- ed with full sleeves. The soft folds of the skirts were gath- - ered at the waist by a wide buckled belt of matching ma- terial. Tney wore matching yellow slippers. and white wrist - Yength gloves. Picture hats with long streamers com- plemented their ensembles and all carried arm houquets of white gladioli backed by white vainted ferns. William Scott was best man. Ushers, were John Scott .and Ronald Fummerton, all neph- ews of the groom.
