GOLF CLUB NEWS Last week the Aguasabon Golf Club held their first meeting for the 1969 golf season. Snowmobile usage of the course was discussed at some length and it is hoped that no damage will result to the much improved fairways and greens of last year'. Despite the general attitude of all golf courses with their restrictions on snowmobile traffic the local club decided last December to take a " wait and see" stand this season and ofter thinking what effect winter traffic does have on the course came up with a policy for next year. However, now that Spring break up is in view , snowmobilers should use a little descretion and caution before any further traffic on the course. Rising costs plus an unamnio: decision for further improvements to greens and fairways which necessitate costly purchases of seed and fertilizers again brought up the question first raised last fall to increase mem- bership fees this year. After much (cont'd page 4) Golf cart: a conveyance used by Arnold Palmer to take money to the bank. See eam ere iia SE ey! ai ae a i eee ty
