TERRACE BAY LEGION BONSPIEL @ Royal Canadian Legion, anch 223, Terrace Bay held a Curling Bonspiel on Saturday, March 8th at the Terrace Bay Curling Club. Successful in the "A" event was the rink of Hugh Hamilton with Phyl Kelty, George Caron and Bi | Luke. They were presented with trophies and Ice Buckets by Rolly Sinotte. Runners-up were Reg Cotton, Elizabeth McLeod, Jack Little and Dodie Bougie. In the "B" event winners were 'Ned West, Stella Gusul, Len Pineault and Peggy Regis. Runners-up were Jim Clancy, Dorothy Koski, Wilf Mallais and Jim St.Louis. In the second game Dryden was defeat by Hammarskjold. Saturday morning Terrace Bay High School was defeated by Hammarskjold by a score of 35 - 25. Terrace was behind 28 - 7 at the third quarter but Terrace's awakening was a little too late. On the same morning F.W.C.1. defeated Dryden 31 - I7. Terrace's final game was against Dryden and T.B. . H.S. was again victorious 37 - 22. The final game © found F.W.C.1. defeating Hammarskjold 25 - 24. -- This left three schools with identical two-win
