A reply will be sent, advising that the amount of gas used by the Fire Truck is next to nil, and furthermore that servicing and gas supplies for all the township vehicles are split among the three garages in turn, in what Council feels is an equit- able distribution. Mrs. Harris reported on the District Campaign © meeting held at the Prince Arthur Hotel, on Feb. Ist. Plans were outlined for the Cancer Campaign which takes place in April . Daffodil Sunday is the first Sunday in April, the 6th. and signifies the start of Cancer Month The meeting was adjourned and Mrs. Harris served a delicious lunch. A St. Martiri's Grade 8 pupils will be selling Easter candy boxes - chocolates and pepermint patties - $1.00 a box, after the 23rd. of March. Each house will only be canvassed once.
