FERRIER ON BOARD OF GOVERNORS CONFEDERATION COLLEGE John Ferrier has been asked to serve on the Board of Governors of the new Confederation College of Applied Arts and Technology which will be located at the Lakehead. This board is chaired by Dr. Char Charles M. Johnston of Port Arthur. The appoint- ment was made by Dr. Howard Kerr, Chairman of the Council of Régents. The Board of Regents functions under the Minister of Education. --_-----------------_ - VOYAGEURS ACKNOWLEDGE COURTESIES _--------------------------------------- The Mill Manager has received many thank you notes ranging from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to the Northwest Territories from Voyageurs who visited here last August enroute from Rocky Mountain House to Montreal. Sample packages of Kimberly-Clark products were sent to the homes of each of the Voyageurs; those who wrote back thanked the Mill Manager for the packages and also for the excell- ent treatment they received while in Terrace Bay . A donation of $63, representing unbudgeted funds remaining in the account, was forwarded to the recently organ- ized Marathon and District Association for Retarded Children, an association which directly benefits Terrace Bay citizens.
