Referees and coaches are reminded to send results of games to E. Nicol for games summaries for the news. CURLING NEWS: The Turkey Bonspiel has been re- scheduled for December 15th, 16th, and 17th. This is the same weekend as the Club Christmas Party. All members of the Men's, Ladies and Mixed Leagues are eligible to participate. There will not be any curling scheduled for Saturday evening and the regu lar Friday night Mixed League schedule will be post poned. An entry list will be posted on the Club bulletin board soon. The Friday night Mtxed League got off to a good start on.November 24th. All curlers are reminded that social functions spon- sored by the Men's, Ladies or Mixed Leagues are os open to all members and associate members and their guests. Special events, such as the Christmas and New Year's Party will have' to be restricted to mem- bers and out-of-town guests due to space limitations. The Club Lounge is open during regular scheduled curling to anyone interested iin watching curling. However, it is not intended to be used as an over- flow room for the Snack Bar for the consumption of _ snacks and beverages. DISTRICT 29 KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS 'SPIEL District 29 Knights of Columbus held a-successful Bonspiel in Marathon last weekend. Winners of various events were; a rink skipped by Mario Council with John Shmanka, Robert Hall, and Bob Hall, winning the Father Marleau Council Event. John « Kelly skipped his rink of George Tremblay, Leo Hogue, and Dave Auger to win the St. Edwards Council Event. Bunny Leblanc skipped his rink with Frank Berger, Don Devereau, and Louis Lamothe to win the Red Rock Council Event. John Duguay skipped his rink with Alvin Lavigne, John C.-Dugua and Gaston Gobeail to win the St. James Council Event. Skip Mario Council and his rink were also present- ed with the District Deputy and District Warden ' Trophies which were presented by Past District Warden Roland Sinotte. Re-Assessment Notices Out Ratepayers in Terrace Bay have just received assessment notice issued by the Municipal Office. Included is a letter of explanation and an invitation to attend an "Open House" at the office when assessment officers will be present to answer your queries. The re-assessment program is completed and lands and buildings have been inspected. Open House will be held.on November 29th from 1 to 5p. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and on :'November 30th from 9.a.m. to 12 noon.
