THE CHRISTIAN AND POLITICS FORU M HELD A Forum on the Christian and Politics was held in the Guild Hall, Sunday, October 15, the widely -- divergent audience indicative of the public interest. Rev. E.C. Prinselaar was chairman, Rev. J.M. Cano, moderator, and the panel were Jack Stokes NDP candidate, Mrs. D.O. Hamilton, member of the Progressive Conservatives, and Harold McPar- land, member of the Liberal Party. After each of the panel had told how their life as a Christian had led to an active participation in politics, they answered questions posed by the audience for a set time and then the entire audience was broken up into discussion groups who considered set questions. At the end of the time set for this, the reporter appointed by each group presented their opinions which were reviewed by Mr. Prinselaar. A vote was taken and it was unanimously agreed that similar forums on local and wider issues be held regularly-next one in two months time.
