MRS .CAROL MUI A BURIED | N SCHREIBER The funeral of the late Mrs.Carol Muia whose death occurred on August 14 was conducted in Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church by Rev. J.M.Cano on August 16. The honorary pall bearers were Antony Commisso, Vincenzo Commisso, Cosimo Commisso, Carlo Mel- acco, Frank Pellagrino, Frank Sgzmbelluni, all relatives and active pall bearers were Cosimo Dag- ostino, Peter Gutta, Antonio Pasqualino, Dominic Figliomeni, Cosimo Figliomeni, Armand Macri, nephews of the deceased. Mrs .Muia who was 44 years old, came with her husband and family to Schreiber sixteen years ago. She was born in Siderno, Merino, Italy. She is survived by her husband, one son Frank, five daugh- ters, Emma, Teresa and Kathy at home, Mary, Mrs. Frank Commisso and Ida, Mrs.Joe Bosco, and four grandchildren. Interment was in Schreiber ceme- tary. Att ending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. M.Riccio and son Dominic, Cosimo Riccio, Carlo Lombard, Giovanni Macri, D.Scambolino, Guisep- pi Eriozese, Francisco Lombardo, Antionio Mia, Vincenzo Lombardo, Mr.and Mrs .Cosimo Figliomeni Federico Polito, Mr.and Mrs.F .Stalkiri, Dominic Polito and D.Pedulle, all of Fort William; S.Car- dernia, G.Galea, D.Veleo, Cosimo Cordecuia, G .Pesee and L.Stefarno, all of Marathon. Many messages of condolence were received from relatives in Toronto. The Catholic Women's League will hold their Field Day on Monday, September 4th on the Parish grounds, beginiing at 1 p.m. There will be races for children, games, bingo and several tood booths and other attractions. Mr .and Mrs.R.C .Campbell and family are spend- ing their vacation at Falcon Lake. Mr .and Mrs .D .Boyd have returned to Winnipeg after visiting their daughter Mrs.Gary Drake and family. Mr .and Mrs .Ray Cote(Sally Stewart) have gone to Espanola where Mr .Cote will be on the staff of the high school. Before they left a group of friends met in the home of Mr.and Mrs.Pat Mulligan and pre sented a wooden salad set as a farewell gift. Raymond Guillet visited his parents enroute to Ex- po after taking summer courses at Lakehead Univer- sity. Ray teaches in Windsor . TERRACE BAY NEWS Mr .and Mrs.Harold Gellert and family spent their holidays in Ottawa with Mr.and Mrs .Tom Bourke and in other points in the east. ¢ Mr .and Mrs .Forbes Macadam have their daugh ter Joyce, Mrs .Ray Nott, her husband and son Kenneth, of Trenton, with them. Visiting Mrs.Henry Greengrass are her daugh ter, Rev .Sister St.Henry of Parry Sound, and Mrs.Doro- thea Wykes of Toronto. Mr .and Mrs .Chal McCuaig of Atikokan and Jim McCuaig, spent the weekend with Mr.and Mrs. Lester McCuaig. Mr.and Mrs.Max Striker and Slonen Striker visited the McCuaig's also, enroute from Oshawa to Atikokan. A family reunion was held this week in Mr.and Mrs.Bruce Simon's home, with Mrs .Simon's sisters and brother Spencer Wilson of Sioux Lookout, Stewart Wilson from Marathon, Mr.and Mrs .Art Kinnear (Helen Wilson), Mr.and Mrs . Bill Farrell (Margaret Wilson) from Kingston, all here. Mr.and Mrs.Wesley Clemens, their daughters and Muriel Nesbitt have gone to spend their vaca~ tion in Wiarton. Rev.and Mrs.John Freeman of Flin Flon visited with Rev.and Mrs.E.C. Prinselaar recently. Mr .and Mrs.Gerry Fisher and their family have gone to Expo and to visit relatives in southern Ont. Mr .and Mrs. Bill Gerow and daughter Mary Ellen are attending Expo and plan to visit relations in southern Ontario. Mr.and Mrs.Walter Murphy with grandchildren David and Karen Lamoureaux are in Duncan, B.C. visiting Mr.and Mrs. Brian Stewart (Patricia Murphy) and enroute home will visit Mr.and Mrs .Sam Sopel (Lorraine Murphy) in Regina. Mrs .Bob Gray who, with her husband has moved to Victoria, B.C., was presented with several fare- well gifts: at a social evening of the Royal Canadia Legion, with a pin bearing the Legion crest; with a cosmetic set by the local Art Club and, at a gather- ing of the three women's groups of the Anglican Church in the home of Mrs. Jack Corbett, with a money corsage, Mrs.A.E.Rigelsford making th e presentation. Allan Bourke is attending Expo and will visit in Toronto and Ottawa before turning. Mr cand Mrs .Frank MacDonald have returned home after visiting in Toronto. Mr .and Mrs. Walter Wilkes and Miss Gwen Hadley have returned home after a holiday in the British Isles.
