The ministers of each church, along with their wives, were also guests. Rev. Prinselaar said Grace and Susan Graham pro- posed a toast to the Queen preceding the dinner. Kristine Olsen, Terrace Bay president, introduced the head table guests. Sharon Riley of Schreiber proposed a toast to the Mothers and Mrs. V.Hopper of Terrace Bay responded Mrs. M.Simmer accompanied for a sing song led by the senior girls. Phyllis Ann Turner rendered a piano solo. A delightful film the local C.G.1.T. had made-- a modern version of "The Prodigal Daugh ter (son) was shown by Mrs .Wills. Rev. T.Garnett Husser was in charge of a tape recording of the dialogue for this film. Everyone joined in 'Taps' to close an enjoyable evening. Guide and Brownie plots are ready for planting on June l0th and Guides and Brownies are reminded of the Inter-Faith Service to be held Sunday June 11th in th e high school auditorium. Two Brownies were welcomed from Schreiber into the Terrace Bay Packs. Guide Cookies are still for sale and can be obtain- ed by contacting either Mrs. MacDonald or Mrs .Mac- Fadyen. Blue Badge Secretary Mary Middaugh stated that a total of 46 badges have been earned between Jan. Ist and May 26th. Mrs.Peggy Helmink gave an interes- ting report on the meeting in Elliott Lake of the On- tario Council of Guides that she attended. GUIDES RECEIVE FIRST AID AWARDS Last Wednesday evening the Girl Guides of the Ist Terrace Bay Company proudly watched two of their leaders and ten girls, their instructor, Mr.John Ferguson, and Mr.George Burns, receive their St. John Certificates.
