June 8, 1967 TERRACE BAY NEWS Page 9 LADIES AUXILIARY PLANS RUMMAGE SALE The Ladies Auxiliary evening group of the Com- munity Church met on June 5th with president Mrs .Stella Brown presid- ing. A worship period was conducted by Mrs.M.Lie- brock and Mrs.H .Farrell| with Mrs .C «Gould accom- pany ing the hymn at the piano. A motion to join the Canadian Bible Society was passed. A $25 mem- bership fee will be made and carried on from year to year. Two new bibles will be purchased and the supply of white Baptismal bibles replenished. Reports on the C.G.1.T banquet and the Scout ' Banquet were given. Those who helped toward their success were thanked Cookbooks are still a- vailable. Those who wish copies can contact Mrs. Doreen Kurylo. Donations of books, magazine, pocket books will be accepted for the Seaman's Club at the Lakehead. A box for this purpose is in the church basement. Lunch donations were requested for about forty playground billets, the evening of June 21st. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Mrs.C.
