"THINKING DAY" OBSERVED BY LOCAL GUIDES To all Guides, Scouts, Cubs and Brownies February 22 is Thinking Day, also the birthdate of Lord Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scout Movement, and of his wife, Lady Baden-Powell the World Chief Guide. Terrace Bay Girl Guides celebrated the important occasion in traditional fashion, each patrol performing a skit at the Wednesday meeting, based on the early days of Guiding as it evolved from Scout Movements.
