During the three sessions, the accent was on basic acting techniques, with an introduction to mime work. Through improvised scenes and duologues, students learned the rudiments of stage movement and voice production as well as: how to handle "props" and stage business. Then came interpretive work and characterization. This past weekend, enthusiasts met again and new found talents found expression through scenes from Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN. Such was the dedication, discipline and hard work from the small DISCONTINUED LINES - BROKEN SIZE RANGE - - LIMITED QUANTITY FOR WORK OR CASUAL WEAR Broken size range -reg.to 7.95 School Auditorium, yielded word perfect, well acted scenes. With the support of Mr.LeMay and school author- ities , members of the group will spread their wings and present the fruits of their toils as a finished per- formance for an invited audience of parents and friends. Among the company, Michael LeMay, Arnold Boulanne and Ernest Uzicanin play leading male roles while Claire and Lorraine Belliveau, Joyce Belliveau, Marcia Kettle and Valerie Turner are the ladies. Stage management, which includes the technical fields of lighting, sound effects and properties, is handled by Judy McInnes. It does this student group credit that, in little over a week, they can realize drama work up to per- nucleus of performers that rehearsals, held in the High} formance level. This course is sponsored by the Ter- race Bay Recreation Association .
