Local Christians attended class- es on methods of Bible distri- bution and then went out into their neighbourhood with the Scriptures. Over 6,000 were sold, including 360 Bibles and Testa- ments, and a further 12,000 were distributed free of charge with personal introduction. As the result of such a distri- bution campaign four years ago a church in Girardot, one of Col- ombia's main towns, came into being. This church has grown rapidly. The congregation now meets in a small chapel, and had bought a large plot of land on which to build a church § struc- ture. The Penzotti program, which is a method of intensively train- ing lay men and women in Scrip- ture distribution, while working under local church leadership, is Latin flourishing America. throughout Puerto Rico and the Domini- can Republic attributed much of the success of their distribution to Penzotti Institutes. Argentina saw apathetic believers filled with enthusiasm. Paraguay, Mexi- co, Venezuela and now Colombia are showing effective spritua! re- sults from careful distribution programs. KIMBERLY-CLARK SAFETY SLOGAN CONTEST Leon Theriault, Bill Wallin, David Luke, John Pelto and Wally Shynkaryk won silver dollars for knowing last week's safety slogan - only one person failed to repeat the slogan. Safety is thought and care in action - it is everyone's responsibility . USE OF GARDEN PLOTS QUESTIONED A Board of Directors meeting of the Terrace Bay Horticultural Society was held October 4th at the home of the secretary with A.Farrow pre- siding.
