F.McNally of Marathon. Members of the Presbytery present included Rev. Robert McPherson of Pine Valley Church, Mrs.Jean Crittal and Mrs. A.Nevert. R.J.Inshaw had the pleasure of baptizing his grandaughter, Lisa May, whose parents brought her from Toronto. Lisa's Godparents were uncle and Aunt Philip Inshaw and Lois Inshaw of Ottawa, and aunt Geraldine Johnson (Mrs .Alex Johnson) of Winnipeg, for whom Mrs. Inshaw, Sr., acted as proxy in the service in St. John's Anglican Church. brought their son Adrian Francis home to grand- parents Mr.and Mrs .Vincenzo Speziale to have the baby baptized by Father Epoch in Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church. His godparents were aunt Rosa (Mrs.Gary Speck) and uncle, Cosimo Speziale This makes four generations in the Speziale family. Family dinner parties followed both services. a _ Miss Diane Kidsey of Fort William visited Mrs. Leonard Huard last week. ey Mr.and Mrs.Ed Smith of Fort William have been visiting Mr.and Mrs.Martyn Ryan. Mr .and Mrs.George Moore have been called tot London, Ontario by the critical illness of Mrs. Moore's sister, Mrs. Ellard Coons. Mr.and Mrs .Peter Smith (Mary Adams) and their daughter, of Sarnia, are visiting relatives and friend here. Mr.and Mrs. Bruce Reid and family of Kapuskasing are camping at Sand Lake and visiting friends in town. Frank Riley of Terrace Bay won the color TV raffled by the Legion on August Ist. Miss Winona Macadam of Chapleau visited her sister, Mrs.Bill Kenney. The Kenneys drove Miss Macadam home and will remain for a visit. Mr.and Mrs.J.Maddems and son Rob, of Winni- peg, visited Mr.and Mrs . Bill Furlonger over the weekend. Mr .and Mrs.Mervyn Perrault and family have re- turned from Ottawa where they attended the funeral of Mrs.Perrault's mother Mrs.John Carty. Mr.Carty returned home: with the Perrault's to visit. Mr.and Mrs.Howard Reid and family of Espanola visited this week with Mr.and Mrs.Norman Mc- Cuaig. St. John's Ambulance Nursing Division will can- vas Schreiber to solicit blood donors for the clinic of the Red Cross being sponsored in Terrace Bay on August 16. The Schreiber unit will also assist during the clinic. Mr .and Mrs.Alex Power have returned from No. Bay where they attended the funeral of the latter's uncle, Dan Comerford. Mr.and Mrs."Jake" Davidson and daughter Mar- garet, of Clarkson, Ontario, are camping at the Lake while visiting old friends in Schreiber . Mrs. Davidson is the former Pat Partridge, a Schreiber native. Sodas oe nce eee Mr.and Mrs.Wm.Greer of Manitouwadge visited relatives here and in Pays Plat recently. Rev .Father Maurice, S.J., of Port Arthur, visited Pays Plat Mission on Sunday and Father Epoch of Toronto said Mass here Monday .
