The new plant will include modern high speed tissue manufacturing and converting facilities for the production of Kimberly-Clark's line of branded consumer tissue products. A kraft pulp mill with a probable capacity of 500 tons per day also will be installed. Installation of machines for production of news= print and printing and business papers at the site is under consideration. GOLF NEWS Members are again reminded to submit at least five cards in order to establish a handicap for the men's "Warm-Up" tournament which will be held on June 25th. The club-house washrooms were completed early this week. A big thanks to Ned West, Bill Pytyck and Scotty Hamilton who spent considerable time making the installations. With golf in full swing the club house work party has dwindled to Jack Phillips, Dave Desrosier, Thor Olsen and a couple more. These men deserve a lot of credit. Fortunately there are only a few hour's work left. The ladies have taken on the job of painting the washrooms. The ladies' club, formed this year, is this week. Membership has reached 240 and should climb to 260. A very successful year is in the making. At least 190 of our members are residents of Terrace Bay and there are a fair number of non-members who pay green fees which means that over 200 local people use the course for fun, relaxation and exer- cise--roughly | 0% of our total population and ap- proximately 15% of our adult population. In ad- dition to the above are the many tourists who play during the summer months and marvel that such a small town has a beautiful golf course. These are some of the things that make the course of value to a community. Junior participation this year exceeds that anti- cipated. These youngsters are quite determined to master the game and are deriving immeasurable en- joyment. The Aguasabon golf course stands as a monument to what can be accomplished by a community with unafraid, determined and dedicated people. For my money the Course is a tremendous value to our beautiful town and one of its greatest assets.
