Bade 12. THE Recreation Briefs - continued Operetta - The Port Arthur Junior Music Makers presented the Operetta The Fortune Teller at the Terrace Bay High School on Sunday, May 29th. The crowd was very disappointing and we find our- selves in a difficult position to bring in other talent such as this for this community. It was surprising to see the talent on stage from these young perfor- mers, and we were hoping that this would create enthusiasm and incentive for our own children. The cultural and intellectual aspect of recreation has been very badly neglected and our sole purpose in bringing this group to Terrace Bay was to broaden the interests of our young people. If there is sufficient interest indicated this Fall we will make an attempt to hdve an instructor teach ballet, baton twirling and contemporary dance in Terrace Bay.
