Mr.and Mrs .Raymond Potvin of Windsor are the guests of Mrs.Lesley Comeau, visiting also Ray's advised that plans to erect a recreation centre costing mother, Mrs.Alice Potvin and other relations. $8,000 has been approved for Centennial grants from the provincial and federal governments. ROSSPORT NEWS Rev .Stephen Diller, accompanied by Mr .James Hair of Minneapolis, are at Rev.Diller's summer home for a few days. Mr .Don Ibey and son Jimmy were here for the week end to visit his parents, Mr.and Mrs.Leonard Ibey. Mrs .Dan Gerow returned Saturday from Nor th Bay and Timmins. Mrs .Russell Gerow and children have returned from a holiday in Fort William. Laurie Ann Mushqush has returned after spending ten days in Port Arthur. Mr .and Mrs.Eugene Legault and son Peter, visited relatives at the Lakehead Thursday and Friday. Bill Hubelit left Wednesday for Battle Island Light House for the shipping season. Mr .and Mrs.Herb Legault were business visitors at the Lakehead Friday and Saturday. Mr .and Mrs. Toy Seppala were at the Lakehead last weekend on business . W.E.Fairs was taken to a lakehead hospital last week. Laurie Halonen, sr., is ill in his own home. Sympathy is extended to Mr .Allan E.Nelson and his sons, Capt.Allan Nelson of the Canadian Army and Robert Nelson, at home, on the loss of a wife and mother, Mrs.Allen E.Nelson, following a lengthy illness in the Lakehead. Ray Peterson and Miss Paul Korshonen of Port Arthur spend the weekend with Mr.and Mrs .Ray Pitkanen. At the last meeting of Ruby Rebekah Lodge the harter was draped in memory of Mrs. T.A.Sharpke, P.G.M., of the Grand Lodge of Ontario. Mrs.Dora Weaver, D.D.P., announced that the Spring Tea will be held on April 30th at the Town Hall, with tables of baking and candy adding to the attractions.
