April 21, 1966 FUNERAL SERVICE HELD FOR CARL PETERSON The funeral of the late Carl Peterson who died suddenly on Saturday, April 9th, was conducted on Tuesday, April 12th in the Terrace Bay Community Church by Rev. T.Garnett Husser . The church choir were in attendance and Mrs.S. Hodgkiss presided at the organ. Honorary pallbearers were present and former high school students, Bill Shivas, Jim Mikus, Ingo Schmeidchen, Donald Teniuk, Joseph Papineau and Ron. Falzetta. Pallbearers wére R.Harris, B.Hayes, W.Jones, A.Chisholm, G.Cebrario and H.Hart. Mr .Peterson came to Canada from Sweden forty- three years ago as a young man of twenty-five. Before moving to Terrace Bay eleven years ago he and Mrs .Peterson lived in Schreiber were he worked at carpentry and other jobs. Surviving are his wife and one daughter, Mrs.R. Payette and several grandchildren. In town to attend the funeral was Mrs . Peterson's brother, Chas.Kingston of White River.
