KARL GLAD BURIED IN SCHREIBER The funeral of the late Karl Glad, whose death occurred on September |4th in hospital following a long illness, was held on September |8th in St.John's Anglican Church under the auspices of the Bro.of Railway Car Men. Rev. R.J.S.Inshaw conducted the service and pallbearers were Pat Bolan, Bill Madge, Bill Weaver, Emmett Holland, Gordon Willoughby and Russell Weaver. Interment was in Schreiber Cemetery. Mr.Glad, who was 72, came to Schreiber in Aug- ust, 1912, directly from Sweden. From then until his retirement in January, 1958, he was employed by the CPR in the car department. He is survived by his son Norman and four grand- children, a brother, Wm.Glad, all of Schreiber-- two brothers and two sisters in Sweden. He was a member of the IOOF. Attending the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs.Edson Gunn and Mrs.Edward Glad of Fort William and Mrs.Russell Cameron of Port Arthur. The Ladies Bowling League will hold its organiza-
