Mrs .Ray Herring and two daughters, of Dartmouth, N.S., are the guests of Mrs.J.B.Fournier. Mrs. Herring has come to visit her father in St.Joseph's Hospital, Port Arthur. Mr.and Mrs.Don McLeod and family of Sudbury are visiting Mr.and Mrs. Jack Rattray. Relatives of the Priske family enjoyed a family party last week. Among those here were Mr .and Mrs .Fred Prisske of Port Arthur, Mr.and Mrs.Ted Priske of Mexico, Mr. Ponty Priske of Boulemaque, Quebec, Rev.Douglas Sly and family of Winnipeg, Mr .and Mrs.Dennis Craig and family of Port Arthur-- all meeting in the home of Mr.and Mrs.Bob Gary (nee Nellie Priske). Mrs. John Didych of Fort William visited her daugh- ters, Mrs.Harold Fisher and Mrs.Gerry Fisher and their families recently. Mr .and Mrs.R.Nygaard have with them Miss Inga Stevens , Miss Hulda Bjarnason and Miss Bonnie Thor- darson, all of Gimli, Manitoba visiting them. Mr .and Mrs .Eddie Grant of Nobel visited Mr.and Mrs.Wesley Clemens enroute to Brandon. Mr..and Mrs .Melville. Stanzel (Marie Cebrario) of Hamilton are spending their vacation here, dividing their time between Mr.and Mrs. Pat Mulligan at White Sand Lake Cabins and Mrs.Joe Cebrario in Town. Mr.and Mrs.Walter Guillet have had with them their daughter Suzanne, her husband Ernie Beaucage and three sons of Port Arthur and Dr .Maurice Comeau a nephew, with his wife and daughter. The latter are enroute from New Hampshire to Portland, Oregon. From Oregon Dr .Comeau goes to Anchorage to serve with the American Air Force. MRS .SINGLETON HONORED Mrs. Bob Ellicott and Mrs.John Spillane were co- hostesses at a party honoring Mrs.Muriel Singleton, a combined occasion when old friends bade farewell to Muriel and also presented wedding gifts for her new home in Fort William. Among the gifts were two from the Lady Trainmen Lodge and a money cor- sage. Assisting the hostesses were Mesdames W.G .Fur- longer, D.Souliere, T.Whitton, W.Miller, .A.Huard, N.McCuaig and Del Weberg (Terrace Bay) with Jane Singleton attending the guest book. Miss Cheryl Caccamo of Fort William is the guest of her grandmother, Mrs.A.Caccamo. Harold Livingston is in McKellar Hospital . Mrs .E.Langille was taken by ambulance to a Lake- head hospital . Mr .and Mrs.Vernon Weaver have returned from a holiday spent in Toronto, Barrie and the Sault. Mr.and Mrs.Gus Krause flew to Germany for a month's visit with relations--Mr.Krause' mother in Bremen and Mrs.Krause's father's relatives, the Win- ters, in Hanover. Mr .and Mrs.John McFarlane and family of Cara- mat spent the weekend with Mr.and Mrs.Bill Paradis. Mrs. Bruce Simon returned to Kingston with her sis- ter, Mrs.A.Kinnear for a visit th ere. Mr .and Mrs.Garnet Carmichael and family of Sud- bury were the guests of Mr.and Mrs.Harvey Carmi- chael before going on to visit in the west and leaving their son Larry here to visit old cronies. Mr.and Mrs.George Cataford had Mrs.Cataford's 'Sister and husband, Mr.and Mrs.Alex McDonald of Englehart and their grandson' Mike McDonald visiting them. Mr.and Mrs.Allan Cataford and family, who have been visiting the Cataford's have returned to their home in Toronto. Mrs .Carl Palmer of Murdochville, Quebec and Erle D'Arcy of Toronto are expected shortly to visit the D'Arcy relations--Miss Mildred. D'Arcy, Mr. and Mrs.Bill D'Arcy, Mr.and Mrs.D'Arcy Wilson and Mr.and Mrs.D.L.Wilson. Mr .Harold Morgan of Bradenton Trailer Park, Flo- rida, visited Mr.and Mrs.Forbes Macadam last week. Mr.and Mrs .Eddy Guay of Victoria, B.C. visited old friends in town when enroute home after a lengthy tour of Canada. Mrs .Russell Cameron of Port Arthur was a recent guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs.Jack Smitheman. Milton Winters is recuperating in McKellar Hospi- tal after surgery. - Mr.and Mrs.Mel Turner (nee Sheila Black), visited old friends last week while the guests of Mr.and Mrs. Art Moorey. Before returning to Pembroke they will visit Sheila's parents, Mr.and Mrs.W.R.Black in Fort William. Mr .and Mrs.Alex McCuaig with Katie, Donald and Christie of Owen Sound, visited Mr.and Mrs. Lester McCuaig last week. Mr.and Mrs.Mark Doig of Chapleau are visiting here this week.
