DART CHAMPIONSHIPS HELD BY LEGION Dave Gunter and Vic Thorpe of the Schreiber Branch, Royal Canadian Legion, captured the Ray Tuokko Trophy for Mens' Championship in a Dart Tournament held at the Terrace Bay Legion on Satur- day, April 24. The Trophy was held by the Terrace Bay Branch. Rosemary Thorpe and Violet Rigelsford maintained the Schreiber scoop in taking the Zone 82 Trophy in the Women's Division. Fifteen teams from Schreiber Marathon, Manitouwadge and Terrace Bay competed for the trophies in the men's division with the ladies competing with representatives from Schreiber, Marathon and Manitouwadge. The guests and members were entertained by the Terrace Bay Branch at the Curling Club Lounge with a supper and social. President Howard Solly wel- comed the visitors and introduced the Head Table guests: Frank Ginn, Zone Commander, Dave Gunter President of the Schreiber Legion, B.Demonski Presi- dent Manitouwadge Legion, M.Hawes, Zone Sports | Officer, Bill Smith, Zone Sports Officer elect and Len Hiller Zone Commander elect and their respec- tive wives.
