Members agreed the Brown Owls should be relieved of this task. Mrs.Mikus asked for help in finding a Guider for a Ranger Company. As the meeting adjourned the hostess closed with a luncheon. Mrs.G.Sitch will host the next meet- ing on March 22. A surprise Baby Shower was held Friday evening in honor of Mrs.Wilma Chadney by a group of her friends at her home. Many lovely gifts were receiv- ed and a delightful luncheon was served by Mesdames Roselyn Kenney, Shirley Hersey, Virginia Galvin and Wilma's Mother, Mrs.A. Townsend. The Brook family, Helen and Jack with Susan, Gary and Louise, were welcomed home to the frozen north following a six-month sojourn at the Shasta Division of Kimberly-Clark in Anderson, California. Lorne Vezina and George Daniels departed re- cently to work at the west coast. Before they left the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 223, joined with their Ladies Auxiliary to hold a farewell evening for these two who have worked diligently in estab- lishing this Branch, Lorne as Secretary and George was the Past President. President Howard Solly pre- sented a purse to George and his wife Polly," also active in the Ladies Auxiliary, and to Lorne, with their very good wishes. A buffet supper was served by the Ladies Auxiliary after an evening of dancing and music. George Daniels and Lorne Heeino were also joint+ ly entertained at a Stag by the Pipefitters and Mill- wrights among whom they worked. A book of car- toons by Lorne O'Neil , each depicting the hymour- ous fiighlights of their lives here was presented to each, together with a purse.
