Terrace Bay Community CURLING CLUB NEWS A successful Turkey Bonspiel was held over the weekend, climaxed by a fine party in the Lounge Saturday evening. Winner of the First Event was Hugh Hamilton, with his rink of B.Fawcett, J.Dejonghe, P.Diduch. Second place winners were Thor Olsen, K.Thor- steinson, J.Dakin, E.Zwir. in the Consolation Event, First Place was taken by Ben Hayes, M.Hale, J.Shubaly, L.Shubaly and Second Place went to Doug Knight, L.Gavin, R. Gavin and Marg. Knight. During the party Saturday evening Mr.Ken Ward was presented with a lovely painting, a gift from the Men's and Ladies' Curling Clubs. Sants Claus also made his yearly visit and, in his usual jovial form, distributed many appropriate gifts. The New Year's Party will be held in the Lounge CREDIT HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS In order to accommodate members during the holiday season we will be closed on December 24th and on December 3lst - but will be open on Wednesday, December 23rd and Wednesday Decemb er 30th.
