MEN'S FITNESS CLASSES Men's Fitness classes will start next Thursday (Thursday, November |2th) at 4:30 p.m. in the High School. These classes will be held regularly throughout the winter season. EVERYONE WEL- COME. This is your opportunity to enjoy some team games and calisthenics with a very informal group. There is no doubt that we all require much more physical exertion and, by joining this group you can increase your physical fitness while having fun THE NEWS Page 7 at the same time. There is no registration fee and participants need only take part to the degree which they desire. Let's have YOU out every Thursday for the Men's Physical Fitness Classes. BADMINTON - Don't forget badminton every Mon- day from 8 to 10.30 and every Wednesday from 8.30 to 10.30 p.m. at the High School . BASKETBALL - every Thursday from 8.15 to 10 p.m. at the High School Auditorium. Everyone welcome regardless of their ability. ARENA SCHEDULE Wi th figure skating and minor hockey programmes prepared to commence for the season, it will be pos- sible for us to prepare a yearly arena schedule by the end of the week. At such time, a list of events will be forwarded to the homes. In the meantime, check the arena schedules on the bulletin boards at the Recreation Centre and schools. PROJECTIONIST TRAINING COURSE Tentative plans are being laid for a projectionist training course for 16 m.m. projectors. Final plans will depend on the number interested in taking such a course. If you are interested, contact the Recrea- tion Office immediately. MASTER'S DEGREE CONFERRED ON P.MARCELLA On Octob er 7th a Master of Social Work Degree was granted to Paul C.Marcella (in absentia) by McGill University, Montreal. Paul is the son of Mr.and Mrs. Joseph Marcella of Terrace Bay and is at present residing in Yorkton, Sask., where he is the officer of Rehabilitation for : the Provincial Social Welfare Department. At a recent meeting of the Lake Superior Interna- tional Highway Association in Minnesota, Mr. Neil Cornthwaite of Terrace Bay was appointed a Director of District 2.
