Register now. 1965 YOUTH CONFERENCE IN TERRACE BAY The Terrace Bay Teen Town has just recently re- ceived word that the 1965 Annual Northwestern Ontario Youth Conference has been awarded to Terrace Bay. This conference has become the high- light of the year for area Teen Towns and in most important training aspects for teen groups every- where . The 1965 Conference will be held April I5th to I8th, during the Easter holidays, and presents a great challenge to the local club members and to the community as a whole. Over the next few months, the Terrace Bay Teen Town will Le appealing to the community for assist- ance with billets, fund raising and other aspects of the conference. We sincerely hope that you will help us provide a top-notch conference. Over 150 out-of=town delegates will attend and our combined efforts will offer a worthwhile program ARENA SCHEDULE A finalized arena schedule for the season has not yet b een settled, so that events over the next week will not necessarily be at regular times. When figure skating and hockey time schedules are drawn up, the regular weekly list of events will be avail- able, so that we can once again send out monthly schedules. The cast of twenty-three were elated to learn on the day of their Terrace Bay appearance they had been booked by the well-known Mr.Sol Hurok for an extensive American tour next season. They now continue their tour through Ontario, returning to the Lakehead for November 7th before going home to appear for four days at Christmas to celebrate the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of the only "Royal" Ballet Company in this hemisphere. The Royal Winnipeg Ballet appeared in Terrace Bay through a community-wide effort of Kiwanis, Recreation Association, Schools and strongly sup- ported by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. The Kiwanis Club hosted a reception for the entire company, concluding their Tuesday evening performance. ATTENTION.
