Sponsored by the Women of the Moose in their Hall, Chairman Jackie Calder introduced Gladys Irving of Walkers to commentate and advise on a subject dear to the feminine heart. Men's styles were added to the array of Ladies apparal, showing the audience the latest to select for very young lads, school boys, boy friends or husbands and modeled by a gallant few, but ever so popular gentlemen. Coats this fall were soft in tones or tweeds, warmly lined and trimmed; all shown with hats, gloves and purses to contrast or emphasize the hues. One particularly smart black and white tweed in today's mode, with fur trimmed half cape, still ready for Canadian winter with full sleeves beneath. Suits were worn in the familiar and apptopriate Chanel, a lovely tweed of navy and green, and even a three piece appreared in an Arnel, not only washable, but stretch and shrink proof. Two skirts were teamed with a print of paisley blouse making a most versatile outfit, and the school girl and college miss were particularly well groomed in sweaters, and blouses with skirts and jumpers.
