Also entertained individually, the Ollen- Bittles were guests of honor at a surprise party at the home of Rosemary and Bill Sernesky assisted by Jackie and Gord Calder. Their group of friends gave them a Blue Mountain pottery tray with good wishes on their move. Judy Ollen-Bittle, despite the misfortune of a last minute broken leg, was entertained by Jane Persson and Laura Hartman at the home of the latter at a Barbecue. Judy's young friend presented her with a sweater. Sunday evening Jimmy and Erle Ollen-Bittle were surprised with a Barbecue at the Calder home when their friends gave them each a sweater and good wishes on their trip. Betty Ollen- Bittle was also entertained by her Bridge Club Sunday evening, receiving from the group a sterling Maple Leaf pin and earrings. Still to get underway Ruby and Harry Smith have been entertained by their friends gatherec at the home of Norma and Len Crockford, i assisted by Hazel and Jack Lang. On this occasion they received a Picnic basket and thermos jug. Harry was given a parting gift by his shift of a Buxton wallet and contents. Katherine Smith was the surprised guest of honor when her school chums held a Roller Skating and patio party at the home of Valerie Turner. They enjoyed parting treats on going home. While Roselyn and Douglas Hanna were visit ing their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Lazur in Gladstone, Manitoba, Vivian and Francis Hanna motored out to Kamloops, B.C. and district, visiting with the Storvold, Janicki and Joe Charbon families, formerly of Terrace Bay. Ollie and Jack Chapman with Donna, Brenda and Stephen are home from their vacation trip to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hessie in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Cann in Truro and in Frederickton, New Brunswick with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.H. Chapman.
