This will be necessary_up until June 27th, when the regu- lar instruction programme begins and the Sumner Swim Staff takes over. To qualify as a Lifeguard, you must be at least 17 years of age and hold a Bronze Medallion or equivalent, IF YOU CAN ASSIST FOR SEVERAL HOURS A WEEK FUR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, CONTACT THE RECREATION OFFICE NOW ff! HOUSE LEACUE FASTBALL Poor weather and poor player turnouts ham- pered the first two weeks of Fastball, with others forfeited because a team could not field mine players. It is hoped that the executive has now straightened matters out and that full teams will now be out to all games and that offi- cials will be arranged for im adwance. If the league is to operate well, both executive AND teams must meet their obligations. Games are played every Monday and Wedmes-- day. CET OUT TO SEE THE B0YS PLAY. NOXTH SHORE MINOR BALL At the present time, arranmgenents are beim made for the formation of a North Shore Minor Ball League. This would imclude teams im the Little League (8-12 years), Pony league (13 and 14 years) and Junior age groups.
