CADET INSPECTION AND AWARDS The Annual inspection of Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Superior was carried out Monday even- ing, May 25 in the Terrace Bay Arena with the Inspecting Officer, Commander D.Binmore RC N(R) Commanding Officer of H.M.C.S. Griffon. Accom panying Commander Binmore on his tour of inspection was Sub.Lieut. P.Levy RCN, the Assistant Area Officer of Sea Cadets from Toronto. Lt.J.Cumming, Commanding Officer of R.C.S.C.C. Superior took the salute with the Inspecting Officer for the March Past. Displays were carried out in both the Arena and in the Post Office Building, with the Public invited to view the work of the Corps. The Seamanship Class was under the instruction of A/P |I K.Wood and A/P Il T. Gerow. A/C W.E. Brown received the Award as Best Cadet donated by the Terrace Bay Branch of the Navy Lea- gue of Canada and the Winnipeg Division were awarded the Shell Oil Trophy donated by Mr. R. Sinotte as the Best Division. The Trophy was accept- ed by A/P II K.Wood. Martial music was provided by the Terrace Bay Band throughout the Inspection.
