Jack Thomas reported that orders have been submitted for two extensions to the grass cutter, three ball washers, nine flag poles and nine green cups. Al Pattison was asked to draw up a draft of a constitution which will govern the oper- ation of the Club. Joe Adamo is to contact Ken Ward about developments on the proposed golf school. Jack Phillips advised the committee that Ken Ward has obtained several golf films which will be shown on April 3rd. A film of instruction is also included. It was decided that the deadline for re- ceiving names for the golf course will be at 12 ofclock Noon on April lst. The winner of this contest will be decided at the April 3rd meeting. LADIES AUXILIARY TO MEET The Ladies Auxiliary of the Community Church will meet on April 6th at 8:15 P.M. in the Church Hall. ; _ An interesting musical program has been planned and all ladies are cordially invited. Present were W.Kujbida, R.Hirt, C.Bougie, T.Costa, J.Commisso, Mrs. I.Marsh, C.Buck, N.Cornthwaite, A.Fraser and | D. Large. President N.Cornthwaite presided and the minutes and correspondence were read. The Secretary, D.Large, presented a proposed agenda for Chamber of Commerce Week - April 12th to 18th and members approved a motion that S. Hodgkiss be presented as a nominee from this district for the conservation award given annually at the Fort William Sportsman's Show. Financial support was given to the Super- iorts Hockey Club and the President asked to name a delegate to the Lake Superior Inter national Highway Association meeting in Wawa on April llth. Accounts were passed for payment and per- mission was given to the Secretary to arrange storage in the Bank for official documents. After some discussion on Centennial Pro- jects the Secretary suggested that Township Council be contacted regarding a contest to collect Centennial project proposals. ADULT FITNESS CLASSES The weekly Fitness Classes for adults con- tinue every Thursday at the Gym, However, at tendance has been poor lately and it is likely that classes will be cancelled unless more response is shown.
