INTERMEDIATE PLAYOFF DATES Thunder Bay Intermediate Hockey Playoffs, be- tween the Terrace Bay Superiors and the winners of the Warroad = Dryden series, will commence in Terrace Bay next week. All games will commence at 8 p.m. and pre-game ticket sales will be held at the Recreation Office from 4 to 6 p.m. on the days of games. Game schedule is as follows:- WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18 =- 8 p.m. THURSDAY, MARCH 19 = 8p.m. FRIDAY, MARCH 20 - 8 p.m. (if first two games are split). DON'T MISS THESE GAMES !} NORTHWESTERN MINOR PLAYOFFS HERE Once again Terrace Bay has Eeen chosen as the site for the Northwestern Ontario Minor Hockey Playoffs. This marks the fourth time in the last five years that the Playoffs have been held here. In all, Terrace Bay has hosted the series five times. Dates for this year's event are Saturday, March 21st and Sunday, March 22nd. Games pit the win- ners of the North Shore-Geraldton playoffs against the Lakehead winners in the Bantam, Midget and Juvenile age groups. Each is a two-game - total goals series. It's a weekend no one should miss. Make your plans now to attend the games. | BILLETS NEEDED - MINOR HOCKEY Terrace Bay SUPERIORS clinched the North Shore defeating the Marathon Mercuries (Continued P. 5) ARENA SCHEDULE CHANGES Due to the Kiwanis Kiddies Karnival being held this Saturday afternoon, several changes have been made in the Arena Schedule. : Peewee Finals - 10 a.m. to 1] a.m. Flyweights- 11 a.m. to 12 noon Kiwanis Karnival - 12.30 to 3 p.m. Midgets vs.Geraldton - 3.30 to 5.30 p.m. Atoms - 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Public Skating - 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Billets are urgently needed for visiting Minor Hockey players, for the night of Saturday, March 2lst. This is the weekend that outside teams come to Terrace Bay for the Northwestern Ontario Minor Hockey Playoffs. WE NEED YOUR HELP !!
