They left no doubt that they are the top team in the loop this year and if they continue to play the five "team hockey that has been the Superior trademark all season, they should go on to the Thunder Bay finals. With Rocky Gavin in net for the first time this year, Superiors dominated play, out- shooting Schreiber 51 - 16. Rocky was full value for his shutout though, making several dazzling saves as North Stars tried desper- ately to buck the "goose~-egg". Scoring was again evenly distributed among the limes with Marv. Osmar scoring three and Kolody, rookie John MacDonald and rearguard Pytyck scoring twice each. Defenseman Pollard was also prevalent, with four assists. In all, the locals divided twenty-six scoring points. To further show the "team" effort, these scoring points broke down as follows: Osmar, Whalen, Adamo line ~ nine points; Cowan, Lindquist, Kolody line - six points; the revamped Calder, MacDonald, Mendelin line three points; and the four man defense squad of Pollard, Desrosiers, Pytyck and Woodruff - eight points.
