K-C EMPLOYEES' CHARITY FUND REPORT he Kimberly-Clark Employeés' Charity Fund (KC-ECF) has completed another successful year of operation. A total of $5,863.50 has been distri- buted to 16 worthy charitable organizations (see Financial Statement on page 7). As can be seen from a review of the financial statement, this money has been put to good use in a variety of worthwhile projects. And the "thank you" letters from the or- ganizations involved indicate that the donations aré sincerely appreciated and used to good advan- tage. About 83% of the Kimberly-Clark employees in 'Terrace Bay contribute to the Fund. The minimum donation is $10. per year but many contribute more. The Board of Directors of KC-ECF respectfully sug- gest that this time of the year, when the "spirit of of giving" prevails, is a good time for all of us to appraise our charitable efforts - are we doing enough? Employees who do not belong to KC-ECF are being canvassed. Those wishing to join, or members | who would like to change the amount of their dona- tion, may do so by contacting any member of the Board of Directors or by applying at the Mill Em- ployment Office. The annual KC-ECF meeting, open to all mem- bérs and interested non-members, will be held early in the New Year. At least one new member will be elected to the Board of Directors. The time and place of the meeting will be announced later. Present members of the Board of Directors are as follows: Chairman, Bill Baillie; (Cont'd on Page 7) IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING STORE HOURS Effective Monday, January 6th, the grocery stores in Terrace Bay will close for one hour at noon - from 12:30 until 1:30.
