Mr.& Mrs, Dale Willoughby and family with Mr.& Mrs. Ernie Willoughby and family of Ft. William, together with sons Glenn of Regina and Fred of Caronport, Sask. were home with their parents, the Ernie Willoughby, Srse Tony and Giovanni Speziale who attend schools in Fort William spent the holidays with their parents, Mr.& Mrs. G.Speziale. SCHREIBER COUPLE CELEBRATE SOTH ANNIVERSARY Fifty years ago in St.John's Anglican Church, Schreiber, with Rev. John Ropey offi- ciating, Louise Riley became the bride of Jack Corbett. On Wednesday, December 27th, 150 friends and relatives called to celebrate the occasion of their 50th Anniversary. Mr.& Mrs.Corbett were at home to their man friends from three to five ?,M. when their full bridal party were on hand to receive with them. Mrs.» W.Wardle of Port Arthur was the bridesmaid - Mr. George Riley (brother) from Mount Forrest, the groomsman and Mrs. Victoria Winters, Schreiber (sister) and Mrs, Eva Bailey, Fort William, (groom's sister were flower girls. = Mrs, F.C.Macadam presented a flourishing money tree from their many friends, assisted by Mrs. J.V.Moore and Mrs, Hugh Stewart, Pouring tea in the afternoon were Mrs, G, Riley, Mrs. W.Wardle, Mrs. Ed.Soucey and Mrs, J.Hayes. Serving were Mrs. T,Whitton and Mrs, W.Miller (daughters). Mrs. Ted Wilson who served at the wedding reception 50 years ago was tea room hostess. A dinner was served to the honoured guests in the Anglican Church Hall at 6 P.M. with Mrs, Freda Duggan a niece as dining room hostess and serving were Mrs. RegsBailey, assisted by Mrs. Ida Krause and Mrs, George Riley Jrs, also nieces. ; In the evening their home was again open to their friends when tea pourers were Mrs. V.Winters, Mrs. E.Bailey, Mrs. K.Whitton and Serving were the Misses Ora Mae Harness, Sylvia Harness, Dorothy Slater, Sally Stewart and Mesdames E, Nesbitt and D. Whitton, granddaughter. .A beautiful three- tier wedding cake nestled in tulle rested on a side table flanked by a full blooming rose Sprayed gold. i The tea table was covered with a lace clo centered with gold mums offset by golden hued candles and holders.
