COMMUNITY CHURCH BAZAAR HELD SATURDAY Christmas seemed very close at hand Saturday afternoon when the Terrace Bay Community Church was the scene of the Annual Bazaar put on by the Ladies Auxiliary, Evergreen and poinsettas encircled each post in the hall and a gaily decorated Christmas tree sat upon the stage while the tea tables and booths were colorful and laden with the efforts of the members. Receiving each guest who arrived were Mrs. J, Ray Anderson and the Auxiliary*ts President, Mrs, G, Galvin, "'Convenors of the Annual Christmas Bazaar were Mosdames J. Beddard, W. Farrell and H, Smith, and in cl arge of each of the booths were Sewing tables - Mrs, A, Pattison and Mrs. R, .Shirriff; Knitting Table - Mrs. E. Stobart;| Doll Clothes - Mrs. A. Chisholm; Fish Pond - | Mrs, J, Chapman and Mrs, J, Shivas; the Cookie! Tree - Mrs. J. Kelty; Cook Book - Mesdames F, 0, Soughton, L. Crockford and W. Farrell; Christmas Candles - Mrs. B, Stephen and the 'Bake Table -'Mesdames S,-Lundberg and W. Anderson, Mrs, J. Brooks and the girls of the C.G,1.T. convened their own Candy Table. Tea was served to the busy shoppers at individual-tea, tables gay in green covers and centred with gilded evergreens. with the Tea Room Convenor being Mrs. V. Hopper. RON SCHOCK MAKING GOOD IN EASTERN HOCKEY District residents will be pleased to learn that Ron Schock, 18 year old son of Mr. and the potential seen in him by Scout H, Cotton. Ron is second place scorer with the Niagara; Flyers, farm team of the Boston Bruins. The Hap Emms,, Flyer.
