The marriage will take place in August, Mr.& Mrs. V.Welsh vacationed for ten days with her sister in Smith Falls, Ontario and in the Ottawa Valley. Mr.& Mrs, Bert Ratchford have returned from a vacation in the Kenora district where they visited relatives. Mr.& Mrs.A.Connors and family have re- turned from a vacation trip to New Brunswick and Quebec where they visited Mr.Connor's Mother and relatives of Mrs.Connors,. Sympathy is extended to John Falzetta of Terrace Bay, Mrs, E.Valentino of Jackfish and Mrs. L.Faubert of Nipigon on the passing of their Father, Mr. Joseph Falzetta in Jackfish, Tuesday, July 18th. Funeral service was conducted in St,Mar- tints Roman Catholic Church in Terrace Bay last Thursday, with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery in Port. Arthur. Mrs. Rey Lazson, Rod, Valerie and Gary while visiting her parents in Dryden before they were joined by Roy to continue their vacation to Kenora with his Mother and to Souix Narrows where Koy*'s father works and in Souix Lookout with Mrs.Larsonts sister, Mr.& Mrs. Ab Farrow returned home last week from a trip to Fort Frances, visiting with a brother and stopping in Duluth en- route home. The ladies en- joyed several games.and entertainment before luncheon was served and a parting gift was presented to Jean from the group. Mrs, Fred Gould was recently reunited with her brother Charles Stanton of Hamilton, Ont. | from whom she had been separated for almost thirty years. Both were put in an orphanage and placed for adoption at a very early age. Her brother traced her to Terrace Bay just before Mrs.Gould left with her family on | their vacation to Hamilton so their arrival brought about a very happy family reunion. The Goulds also visited relatives in Strathroy, Ontario. Mr.&@ Mrs, R.Middaugh and daughter motored to Doon, Ontario where Mrs.Middaugh attended a two week Art Course conducted by Carl ' Schaeffer, ARCA RCA and OSA, } While attending the Doon School of Fine Arts two of Mrs,Middaughts paintings were accepted to be hung in the Doon Gallery for } an Exhibit. Mr,Middaugh. and daughter Ainsley visited relatives in Southampton, Owen Sound, i Guelph and Kitchener. Mr.& Mrs. L.St.Louis and family vacationed f with relatives in Eganville and Ottawa. attended the marriage of Mrs,Larson's cousin § Mrs.Fred McMillan and family returned Nr,& ; last Thursday from a vacation trip to Duluth, § Kenora and Manitoba, Joyce and Vic Timpano and daughter flew to ; New York to spend three weeks with relatives ' in Stanford, N.Y. Enroute home they stopped to visit relatives in Powasson and North Bay, | Ontario, The Jack Keltys, Al Pattisons and Jack ' Chapmans with their families enjoyed two weeks' vacation at Laclu, Ontario,
