JOSEPHINE DIANO HONOURED AT SHOWER A shower-tea honouring Miss Josephine Diano bride-elect of June 24th was held recently at the home of Mr.& Mrs. G.Speziale. ' Serving tea were Misses Carol O'Brien, Frances, Roga and Teresa Speziale, Carol Jacob son, Esther and Mary Tricholo, Beulah Grover and Josephine Romano, Assisting in the kitchen were Mesdames Val O?*Keefe, Claire Madge and M,Winters., Presiding at the tea table were Mrs,G,Speziale, Mrs,Leona Fournier, Mrs, P, Figliomeni and Mrs.R.Spadoni, Mrs. F.Conmisso, Mrs.F,Venziano and Mrs,F,Speziale were in charge of the Gift Room. REBEKAH LODGE HOLDS REGULAR MEETING Ruby Rebekah Lodge #279 met in regular session on June 14th with Mrs. A,Morris, N,G. and Mrs. F.Whent, V.G,. presiding. Minutes and correspondence were read by Mrs,A,Laine, Rec, Secretary, Mrs.Whent gave the Sick & Visiting report and Mrs, Jessie McCanna gave the CPT report. The District meeting will be held in the I.0.0,F.Hall, Ft.William on June 20th, A donation was made to the Canadian Bible Soc- iety. The Annual Memorial Joint I.0.0.F, and Rebekah Church Parade was held on Sunday, June 18th from St. John*s Anglican Church, Following Lodge degree practise was held. Initiation will be held on June 28th. Mrs. Ted Brown will be in charge of lunch, The Schreiber Art Club is sponsoring its Annual Art Show & Tea in the High) School on Saturday, June 24th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.
