Box 344 SHIFT #4 ONE GAME UP IN THE SOFTBALL FINALS Shift #4 lead the best of five softball finals over Shift #2 by two games to one, Last Wednesday night Shift #2 won their first game in the series in dramatic fashion, Shift #4 were two runs ahead in the game-- Shift #2 were at bat in the last half of the last innings They got one run across for an 8-7 score, There were two out~-there were two men on base-~it was a full count. Paul Pluta then slammed out a home run to win the game for Shift #2, It was a spectacular finish, On Sunday, August 30th, Shift #4 came back with a 9-7 win over Shift #2 to again go ahead by one game, But Shift #2 can't be counted out.
