While there she met many of the top skaters among whom were Barbara Wagner and Bob Paul, the World's Pair Champions, Margaret Crossland, No.American Sr.Ladies Champion, Joy Bernard, No.Ontario Ladies Sr.Champion and many world- famous coaches. . She reports that Wendy Dunc of Terrace Bay, who is attending the School, successfully passed her third figure test and her preliminary dance test, Mrs.J,Austin returned to her home in Pt, Arthur last week having visited her daughter, realy BULOUAR and family for the past two WECKS. Mrs.Latour and har daughter spent a week in Kirkland Lake.° At present they are entertaining two nieces, Maureen and Shirley Polowski of Port Arthur. Mrs, J.Delaronde spent a week visiting with former Terrace Bay residents the Scott Mann'family in Thurso, Quebec. On her return she was accompanied by Maureen and Cal Mann who enjoyed ten days in their old home town, Marge and Roy Larson enjoyed part of their vacation visiting relatives in Atikokan, Eagle River, Dryden and Sioux Lookout, Inge and Erick Kutok of Pt.Arthur visited at the Synishin home over the look weekend and Vicky and her daughters spent last week in the Lakehead returning home with Steve on Sunday. A visitor from afar was Mrs,Rebecca Shann- on of Strabas, Ireland, who spent a few days in Terrace Bay last week visiting her niece Mrs. R,Wallwin and nephew Harry Hall and their families. Also guests at the Wallwin home were an Uncle and Aunt, Mr.& Mrs. Dave Monteith of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Wallwin's parents, Mr.& Mrs, R.Monteith of Ft.William. Mr.& Mrs.N.Vienneau and family have re- turned from a vacation spent in New Brunswick visiting relatives in Beresford and in Montreal and Ottawa. Recent guests at the Frank Whitfield home were Mr.& Mrs.H.Whitfield and family from St.Vital, Manitoba; Mr.E,Lofquist, son and daughter from Pt.Arthur and Mrs.A.Kari and children. Mr.F,Whitfield and granddaughter Linda are spending August in Terrace Bay. Misses Francoise and Adele LeBlanc returne to Montreal on Monday after a week's holiday with their sister Mrs.Rita Cormier, Mr.& Mrs,R.Cormier accompanied by Mrs.Cyr left on Monday for their home in Kapuskasing following a week in Terrace Bay with their son Raoul Cormier. The Women of the Moose will hold their regular meeting on Wednesday, August 19th at SBI90, P.M, in the Moose Hall, Terrace Bay.
