Hansford, 14 Erica Road, Thornhill, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. & Mrs, Robert . Biesenthal of Fort William, On the arm of her father, who gave her in marriage, the bride entered the Church wearing a floor length model of silk organza, featur--- ing a scooped neckline delicately outlined with chantilly lace and brief lace sleeves, The full skirt was designed with a short train Her elbow length veil fell in graceful folds from a crown, She wore tiny pearl earrings and carried a bouquet of white orchids and stephanotis, Miss Ruth Hansford, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Miss Janet Clarke of Colorado was bridesmaid. They wore identical gowns of pale blue eyelet organdy with shirred sleeves and scoop necklines with softly full skirts, matching bandeaux, mittens and white Shoes, They carried bouquets of stephanotis arranged in cascade style. Pye Mr, Ken Weppler of Terrace Bay was best | man, and ushers were Mr. Ronald Hansford of Thornhill and Mr, Bill Turner of Fort Willian, A reception was held at the Four Winds, Steeles Street, Toronto, where the bride's mother received her guests in a navy lace ' shantung dress with matching accessories, The groom' mother chose a pale rose dress with 'navy accessories, Orchids complemented their ensembles, A toast to the bride was proposed by a family friend Mr. N. Stonehouse, of London, Ontario to which the bridegroom responded suitably, The bride's table, draped in whit e linen was centered by a three tier wedding cake, offset with tulle and tapers. The pedestaled cake held 4 miniature bride and groom under an arch of flowers and wedding bells, Baskets of summer flowers decorated the banquet table, Mrs, Ralph Graham, aunt of the bride, cir- culated the guest book, Leaving on a wedding trip to Quebee and the State of New York, the bride wore a sand dress of paisley print with sand duster, accented by beige accessories and a corsaze of yellow roses, Out of town guests attending were Mr, & Mrs, M. Smith, Mr. & Mrs, L, Smith of Staples, Ontario, Mrs, J. Latam of Leamington, Ontario, Mr, & Mrs. A. Smith of Cottam, Ontario , Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Graham ofSimcoe, Mr. W. Magan of Schumacher, Mrs, R.Arnold of Port arthur, Hr, & Mrs, W. Turner and Tommy of Fort William, Mr, & Mrs, R. Biesenthal of Fort William, Mr, & Mrs. S. Spencer of Niagara Falls, Miss C. Dodge and Miss C..Smith of Toronto, Mr. & Mrs, G. Baillie of Toronto, Mr. C. Stevens of North Bay, Mr. & Mrs, K. Weppler of Terrace Bay. Prior to her marriage the bride was entertained at a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mrs, W, Sedge when many lovely gifts were received from the Cubs of the Akela pack, Mesdames Cathy Smith and Nancy Bisch were hostesses entertaining for Doris where present- ations were made, A prenuptial party was held by the office girls of the LongLac Pulp ,& Paper Company Limited, with Miss Lou Atchie acting as hostess, Also entertaining were former nursing colleagues at a Lunchem held at the Town and Country Club, Toronto, A stag was held by the groom's co-workers of LongLac Pulp & Paper at White Sand Lake in July. *& 3 % *
