Every branch of the Armed Forces was adequately represented and in addition a goodly number of non-veterans pitched in 'to get the job done." There were races for young and old including a three-legged and a wheelbarrow race, Many spent part of the afternoon pitching horseshoes, while the more adventurous were trying their hand at water skiing, courtey of Roger Beaulieu. Swimming was a popular past- ime, especially with the young: folk, Generous servings of home-made pork & beans, and hot coffee supplemented the pienicer's lunches am brought ae day toa close, Arnold Stortini, Art Moorey, and Jack Stokes were in charge of arrangements for the day. More than anything else though, the actual location of the Cenotaph will prove to be a soul-satisfying thing.
