The -Annual Northwestern Zone Youth Rally, 'held at Atikokan last weekend, was again a smash success, Largest of its kind in Canada, the Rally brought together teenagers from Marathon, Terrace Bay, Red Rock, Port Arthur, Fort Willian, Geraldton, Atikokan, Dryden, Emo, Sioux Lookout, Fort Frances, and other smaller 'centres. Bae 350 of these young delegates gathered to . discuss mutual problems, exchange valuable' ideas for teen town activities, -and to lay const- ructive plans for better teenage programmes: - in the Northwestern Zone. The local club, 20 strong and accompanied by the Recreation Director, travelled by bus with = Marathon group, leaving Terrace Bay at 11 Gem. Thursday and returning at 9:30 Sunday. evening. While in Atikokan, all delegrates were billeted 'in private homes, where they enjoyed great hospitality. After a "get-acquainted" session on Thursday night, and a tour of the Steep Rock Iron Mines, on Friday morning, the dele- gates settled down to the purpose of the Rally, the discussions, which are listed ree 1...
